Sandpoint & Beyond
The valley below the lodge is packed with summer and winter activities, from the Northwest's largest theme park to the deepest lake in Idaho.
Lake Pend Oreille
One of the largest and deepest lakes in the West, Lake Pend Oreille is Sandpoint's headline attraction. During the summer, head down to City Beach for swimming, sandy beach days, and boat rentals. The lake is vast enough for sailing, waterskiing, and quiet paddling, all just a 30-minute drive from your mountain basecamp.
The Town of Sandpoint
Sandpoint’s downtown is vibrant and walkable. Stroll the Cedar Street Bridge Public Market — a unique shopping area built on a bridge spanning Sand Creek — and explore a diverse dining scene that ranges from local breweries to upscale lakefront restaurants. It's the perfect answer for a relaxed afternoon or a dinner off the mountain.
Silverwood Day Trips
Silverwood Theme Park (and Boulder Beach Water Park) is the Northwest's largest theme park, located about an hour's drive from the lodge. For multi-family trips and reunions, South Lodge makes the perfect headquarters. Sleeping 16+ (or up to 29 across both lodges), the kids will love the bunk playroom and Pac-Man arcade after a long day of rollercoasters, while the adults can retreat to the hot tubs. Request dates to secure your family's basecamp.
Seasonal Events
Sandpoint's event calendar runs year-round, headlined by The Festival at Sandpoint. This signature summer concert series brings incredible live music to War Memorial Field — lakeside concerts just a half hour from your deck. For current schedules and event dates, check the official Festival at Sandpoint or Visit Sandpoint websites.
